The Powerplant CFL Grow Light comes in 85W, 130W and 250W lamps. These CFL grow lights are energy saving horticultural lamps for superior plant growth. There is an integrated ballast so that no external ballast required. The CFL power lead will plug straight into wall. The screw thread on the CFL lamp is an E40 thread fitting which is larger than household E21 fittings. It is recommended to use a or to mount and power the lamps, vertically or horizontally. The 85W, 130W CFL grow light (Compact Fluorescent Lamp) and 250W CFL have minimal heat generation.

The Powerplant 130W and 250W CFL grow lights come in 3 lighting types:
- 2700K (Red) for flowering
- 6400K (White) for propagation and growth
- 14000K (Blue) for propagation and cuttings/cloning
